Congratulations to our CSE 3rd year students Jyesht, Vivek Kashyap, Tarun Kumar Pathak, and Prince Kumar have secured 1st Prize at the Databricks Campus Hackathon held on 24th March 2026 at Polaris School of Technology.
They were shortlisted among the top 6 teams out of 250 participants and went on to win the competition, competing with industry-level participants. The team received a cash prize of ₹20,000, along with other recognitions and an opportunity to visit the Databricks office and interact with industry professionals. This was also the first Databricks Hackathon conducted in India, making the achievement even more significant.
Their project, “Bharat Yojana AI”, is an innovative AI-based platform designed to help citizens easily access and understand government welfare schemes. The system uses advanced technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to simplify complex policy documents and provide personalized guidance. The project was developed within a short duration, demonstrating excellent technical expertise, innovation, and the ability to apply AI concepts to solve real-world problems.
This achievement highlights the technical skills and innovative capabilities of our students and brings great recognition to the college.
