Quantum X Hackathon
Congratulations to our CSE 2nd Year students Akash Krishna, Jai Aaditya Prabhu, Chiranthana U and S Yeshwini of Team “Zenix” successfully participated in the Quantum X Hackathon held in Statup Tech Park, Kormangala, Bengaluru, competing among 264+ participants and showcasing innovation in Quantum Computing, AI, and Cybersecurity.
The team developed a “Post-Quantum Secure Digital Identity System” using Elato ESP32-S3 hardware integrated with OpenAI Whisper, Qiskit-based quantum identity scoring, and Kyber-512 post-quantum cryptography for secure future-ready authentication.
The project aligned with SDG 9 and SDG 16 and was appreciated for its innovative approach. As recognition of their performance, the team won an Elato AI Module worth $65 to support future AI and embedded systems research.
The team “Source-D-Code” from CSE and CSE(AI&ML) comprising Nived Shaji, Muhammad Danish, Mazhar Abbas, Nithesh, Kushal R, and Yeshwanth secured an impressive 4th place in the hackathon by developing EHODR – Emergency Hospital Optimization & Disaster Response System, a quantum-inspired healthcare platform focused on ICU allocation, ambulance routing, and emergency response optimization using QUBO modeling and Qiskit-based optimization concepts.
The project aligned with SDG 3 – Good Health & Well-being and was appreciated for its innovative and scalable healthcare solutions.
This achievement highlights the technical skills and innovative capabilities of our students and brings great recognition to the college.
