Gopalan College of Engineering and Management organized an orientation programme for the first year B.E students on 26th October 2024. The major objective of the programme was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the Institute and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students.
The first year orientation program for the academic year 2024-25 commenced with an invocation of Lord Ganesha’s divine blessings, supported by the Gopalan management, CEO, and Principal. The inaugural session was graced by the presence of Dr. C.M. Bhaskar Reddy, CEO of Gopalan Institutions, Dr. Arun Vikas Singh, Principal of GCEM, along with the Heads of Departments, placement officers, and other dignitaries. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.
Dr. Arun Vikas Singh, Principal GCEM briefed the students about the college rules and facilities of the institute. He introduced the Heads of Departments and requested the students and parents to understand and abide by the institutional rules and norms.
Dr.C M Bhaskar Reddy, CEO, Gopalan Institutions, expressed his gratitude to the Parents and students for having faith and confidence in the institution. He shared an insightful story, leaving the audience with a valuable lesson.
Mr.Dhananjay, Placement director GCEM spoke about the importance of internships and placements in shaping students careers and supporting their future success.
Dr.Krishna Kumar, Associate professor Department of electronics and communication engineering gave necessary information about the academic design of the first year B.E Course and the University and Institute rules and regulations regarding academic matters.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks extended to all the dignitaries on and off stage, as well as to the technical staff for their efforts in making the event a success.
