77th Independence Day was successfully celebrated by Gopalan Institutions at the outdoor cricket ground of GCEM campus. Gopalan College of Engineering and Management, Bengaluru organized the program as per the direction of management. The event was headed by the chief guest Dr. C M Bhaskar Reddy, CEO, Gopalan foundation. Dr. C Basavaraju, Principal, GCEM, Dr. Manoj Chella, Vice Principal, Gopalan Institutions, Dr. Vimala Swamy, Principal, GSAP, Dr. Siji K, Principal, GCC, Mr.Mahesh, Principal, GPUC, Mrs. Rajashree, Principal, GIS, Maj. Dr. Anandappa, Dean, GPUC are the dignitaries present in the program. All teaching and non teaching staff and students off all gopalan institutions were participated in the event with great enthusiasm. The program was started with welcome speech by Mrs. Rajashree, Principal of GIS, followed by flag hoisting, national anthem and march past. After that chief guest of the program Dr. C M Bhasker Reddy, CEO, Gopalan Foundation, delivered his speech and it was followed by the vote of thanks by Dr. C Basavaraju, Principal of GCEM. After the stage program, Cultural events were performed by students and staff of gopalan institutions.
