The department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an insightful alumni talk for the 5th and 7th Semester students on 3rd Dec 2024.

Objectives of the Event:

1. To motivate pre-final and final-year students.
2. To share his journey to success and relevance.
3. To facilitate a friendly alumnus–student interaction.

Event Description:

Mr. Shubham Saha began the session with great enthusiasm, expressing his gratitude to the department of CSE for the opportunity. He initiated his presentation by reminiscing about his college life (2015–2019) and sharing his personal experiences.

Through his presentation, he explained that it is never too late to start something meaningful. He walked the audience through his academic journey, detailing his performance in various tests and exams. He emphasized the importance of acquiring essential skills for survival in the corporate world while also enjoying life and having fun.

Mr. Shubham also highlighted the unique opportunities Bangalore offers to software engineers and aspiring professionals, elaborating on its role in shaping careers. Additionally, he stressed the importance of having hobbies, drawing from his own passion for bike riding and exploring new places.

Student Takeaways:

Mr. Shubham left a lasting impression with the quote, "Better late than never," which resonated deeply with pre-final-year students. He serves as a testament to the idea that if one perseveres with consistent effort despite setbacks, success will eventually follow.

He also underscored the importance of balancing professional life with personal interests, using his love for bike riding as an example of how hobbies can enrich one's life.

The event concluded at 10:30 AM with a heartfelt thank-you note delivered by Mr. Vinay from the Department of CSE.
