Kannada Rajyotsava event is conducted on 30th November 2022 at open amphitheater of GCEM campus. The event was organized by GCEM with the presidentship of Dr. R Karunamoorthy, Chief Administrator, GF. Dr.Basavaraju C - Principal GCEM, former Principal Dr.N.Sengottaiyan all HODs, Teaching and non teaching staff and students were present in the event. Also Dr.Vimala Swamy GSAP Principal, Prof.Krishnamurthy GSAP Dean and Col.Shailender group general manager were present.
Shri. Gangappa Talawar, Kannada Lecturer, GPUC also a notable writer is invited as special guest for the event.
The flag hosting was held at play ground of the campus at 9.30 a.m, all the dignitaries and students were present during flag hoisting.
Stage program was started by lightening the lamp and followed by barathanatyam.
Dr. C Basavaraju, Honourable Principal of GCEM, delivered welcome speech.
Shri. Gangappa Talavar delivered his speech about the history of Kannada and explained about the importance of Kannada in technical education. He also delivered more information about learning technical things in mother tongue for students.
Prof. Saviraj, Assistant Professor, AE Department, GCEM, delivered speech on Kannada Rajyotsava and ended by vote of thanks at 011.00 a.m.
Cultural events started by students at 11.05 a.m. They performed many events with enthusiasm and lots of energy. They performed events like singing, dancing, rangoli compitation, quiz, poster presentation etc. Many teaching staff showed their talents too in front of students and dignitaries.
The event ended up at 02.30 p.m with National Anthem, successfully with lots of applause and memorable thoughts.
