Engineers Day was successfully celebrated on 15th September 2023 in 6th floor seminar hall at Gopalan College of Engineering and Management. The dignitaries of the event were Dr.Basavaraju.C , Principal,GCEM, Dr.S.Anantha Padmanabhan,HOD,ECE Department, Dr.Sailesh Kumar, HOD, CSE Department ,Prof Chandan M.R,HOD Civil Department ,Dr.Maharani,HOD,Basic Science Department,Mr.Anand Kumar,Placement Head.
At the start of the event a short documentary on the life and work of Sri.M. Visvesvaraya made the audience understand the visionary better with admiration. The event proceeded with the lighting of lamp by dignitaries. Principal and heads of the department addressed the gathering, giving interesting and fascinating facts about the greatest Engineer ever produced on this earth. The prizes were distributed to the upcoming engineers who won in the events like Poster making, Essay writing, IOT Project exhibition model Making.
