Brief report about GETOCS V3.0 TECH FEST-2023 held on 28th and 29th March 2023
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized two days Tech Fest GETOCS V3. 0 on 28th and 29th March 2023. The chief guest and key- Note speaker was Dr. Arulalan Rajan, Ph.D (lISc), Former Professor NIT-Suratkal. The Guest of Honor was Dr. Suresh. K, Ph. D (IISc), Former Principal, SDM Institute of Technology, Ujire.
The program was addressed by Dr. R. Karunamoorthy Administrator, Gopalan Foundations and Dr. Basavaraju.C Principal, GCEM. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. S. Anantha Padmanabhan, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, GCEM.
On 28th March 2023, Professor Dr. Arulalan Rajan, gave a technical talk on “Fundamentals of Machine learning”. Various technical events Line follower, Technical Paper Presentation, Circuit Debugging were conducted under the expert judges.
Technical Paper Presentation was conducted under the expert judges Dr. Arulalan Rajan, D.S. Prakash Wodeyar, Retd. Professor and Head, JNNCE, Shimoga and Dr.Suresh.K Dr.G.Ramesh, Dean (Research), GCEM. Line follower event was conducted under the expert judge Mr.Yashwanth, Sr.Engineer, Intel India, Ltd, Bangalore. After the completion of each event prize distributions were conducted.
On 29th March 2023, Technical Quiz, Technical Debate and Project Exhibition events were conducted under the expert judges. Our Director and Secretary, Shri.Dr.Prabhakar, Gopalan Foundations, visited the Project Exhibition and interacted with the participants on their respective projects. Technical Quiz was held under the Professional Quiz Master Mr.Dhanashekharan.
Technical Debate was conducted under the expert judges, Professor D.S. Prakash Wodeyar, Dr.Madhusudan, Professor, ECE Department, BMSCE, Bangalore, Professor Kattimani, Head of EEE Department, BMSIT, Bangalore. During the events, students of our college and others colleges had an opportunity to exhibit their knowledge. After the completion of events prize distributions and valedictory function were conducted.
