The Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Gopalan College of Engineering and Management (GCEM), Bangalore, organized an event titled “Igniting Minds” to commemorate the 92nd birth anniversary of the missile man of India, Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The event, held from October 15th to 17th, 2023, aimed to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Kalam by engaging students in various intercollegiate online competitions and enlightening workshop series.
The event also featured a technical talk by Shri B Sankar Madaswamy, Scientist/Engineer from ISRO, and explored the realms of aerospace engineering and space technology
