Two days industrial visit to New Mangalore Port, Mangalore District, organized by the Civil Engineering Department, GCEM for 6th and 8th semester students on 05/05/2023 and 06/05/2023. Around 23 students along with 1 staff visited the site which is about 350km away from GCEM.
Mr. Shreyas H C, Assistant Professor, Civil Department, GCEM, physically demonstrated the factors to be considered while planning for ports, difference between ports and harbour, history of mangalore port.
