Gopalan College of Engineering and Management organized an orientation programme for the first year B.E students on 24th September 2023. The major objective of the programme was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the Institute and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students. The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.
Dr. Basavaraju.C, Principal GCEM briefed the students about the rules, regulations and facilities of the institute and requested the students and parents to understand and abide by the institutional rules and norms.
Shri.K.Sreenivasa Ramanujam, Delivery Head-TCS, Bangalore, delivering a speech on the occasion, said that it was not the events but the attitude that makes success. He also stressed the importance of skill and knowledge.
Dr.C M Bhaskar Reddy, CEO, Gopalan Institutions, expressed his gratitude to the Parents and students for having faith and confidence in the institution.
Ms.Balavidya S, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics welcomed the gathering. A vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Raja D, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical and engineering.
