68th Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated on 28th November 2023 at GCEM cricket ground in association with GCEM, GSAP, GCC and GPUC. The program was conducted under the presidentship of Dr. C M Bhaskar Reddy, CEO, Gopalan Educational Institutions. Dr. C Basavaraju, Principal GCEM, delivered welcome speech. Principals of all institutions, Dean, Vice Principal were shared dias along with the chief guest Dr. V Ajith Kumar, Professor and Stage Artist, Sri Ramakrishna Ayurveda Mahavidhyalaya, Bengaluru. All teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present throughout the program.
The flag hoisting was done at cricket ground of the campus at 8:30 AM. Dr. V Ajith kumar, delivered his speech about the history, culture and importance of including kannada in technical education.
Prof. Saviraj, Assistant Professor, AE Department, GCEM, delivered vote of thanks, which was followed by cultural programs performed by the students. The program was successfully concluded with lots of applause and folk dance.
