Women Day 2015 @ Gopalan College of Engineering & Managment Campus - Whitefield,Bangalore
A blood donation camp and women’s day was organised at the GCEM campus with the help of Rastrothana blood bank. The event was organised by NSS unit. The programme started at 10:00 am. The invited dignitaries were Mrs. Geetha Vivekananda, Corporator BBMP. Madam corporator spoke about women empowerment and education. The other invitee was Dr. Rajalakshmi,. MDS and also MISS WHEELCHAIR INDIA 2014. “if I had to live someone else’s life, I would wish to re-live my own life” these were the words from Dr. Rajalakshmi. The women’s day programme ended at 11:00 am. 100 units of blood was collected.
