The B.Sc. in Interior Design program is designed to equip students with the creative, technical, and practical skills needed to thrive in the dynamic field of interior design. Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines, the curriculum offers flexibility and opportunities for students to personalize their learning journey.
The program focuses on the development and application of design solutions for both new and renovated spaces. Students will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software, tools, and techniques, preparing them for real-world challenges. Emphasis is placed on professional communication, teamwork, and project execution within interdisciplinary environments.
Graduates will emerge with a strong foundation in design principles, materials, construction, sustainability, and emerging technologies - enabling them to innovate and lead in the interior design industry.
The degree spans six semesters (3 years), featuring a mix of core design subjects, theory-based learning, and studio workshops.
The honours program includes an additional 7th semester thesis and a final-semester professional internship, extending the program to 4 years.
