Details of the session
The speaker tactfully enlightened the fresh batch of Architecture students regarding the journey of an architecture student through her personal experiences as both a student and a professional. The session was kick-started with defining what good architecture is and what the primary responsibility of an architect is. The speaker also highlighted the importance of learning the basic skill sets as architecture students which includes but not limited to understanding representational skills, making field notes and inculcating the habit of asking questions and attempting to answer them. The speaker also ended with session with “ bag of tricks’ which talked about a few pointers on the importance of observation, tactility, good visual communication skills, being multidisciplinary.
