Design Pedagogy

Faculty Development Program at GSAP on “Design Pedagogy” in Collaboration with Council of Architecture, New Delhi.

Design Teaching is a challenge since the industrial revolution. Architecture is linked to various fields of design and hence just teaching architecture will not help the students understand the real-time challenges. Involving interdisciplinary learning and incorporating the techniques in design studios makes the students think widely. To make this possible we conducted a Faculty Development Program from 17th of February to 21st of February, 2020, at Gopalan School of Architecture and Planning, through which 21 faculties of various schools of architecture in India got together. The 16 speakers of different fields of Architecture were invited to enrich their knowledge. The eminent speaker list is as follows:
