Adaptive Architecture is a multi-disciplinary field concerned with buildings that are designed to adapt to their environments, their inhabitants, and objects as well as those buildings. It was presented as an alternative modus operandi for architects to create buildings that are flexible, sustainable, and future-proof systems.
Upcoming students should be trained in this re-adaptive architecture as these are much more viable and conservative. Lalitha mahal palace was built in renaissance architectural style, it was set amidst sprawling landscaped gardens below the Chamundi hills whereas Jagan Mohan palace was built in traditional Hindu style and has three stories.
The education trip of 8th sem students to both these palaces helps them to understand this context.
