Visit to Residences Designed by Ar. Praveen at Ar. Kanade Sir’s Office

Students of the Second Semester were taken to 3 residences at Nagarbhavi and Vidyranyapura. The residences designed by Ar. Praveen at Ar. Kanade Sir’s office completely followed exposed brick and stonework. The construction style of the architect is split level, skylights and introducing nature into the built spaces, the play of light and shadow. The students were briefed about the design style of the building, and the different challenges the architect experienced during the design and construction process were exchanged between the student and the architect. The opportunity to understand client requirements and to work around them as an architect was also understood during the visit
