Physics

Physics is, hopefully, simple. Physicists are not. Physics is the only profession in which prophecy is not only accurate but routine.

Physics falls under a broader category of Science. Science is divided into three areas namely Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The main objective of these subjects is to study and try to understand the universe and everything in it.

Physics as a subject is divided into six broad branches as discussed below

Mechanics, Work & Energy, Theory of Gases, Thermodynamics, Geometrical Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, Atomic Physics & Waves.

Aspirants interested in physics have solid problem-solving skills, science skills, thinking using logic and reasoning, thinking and reasoning skills. Graduates in physics are in demand for a variety of high-paying positions all over the world.

Modern areas of applied math include mathematical physics, mathematical biology, control theory, aerospace engineering, and math finance. Not only does applied math solve problems, but it also discovers new problems or develops new engineering disciplines.

Computer Science

Computer science, does not merely remain the study of computers and computing.

The major subfields of computer science include the traditional study of computer architecture, programming languages, and software development. However, they also include computational science (the use of algorithmic techniques for modeling scientific data), graphics and visualization, human-computer interaction, databases and information systems, networks, and the social and professional issues that are unique to the practice of computer science. The study of algorithms and data structures, computer and network design, modeling data and information processes, and artificial intelligence.

The Department has always endeavored towards attuning students with the required technical and soft skills, to adapt to the rapid development in the field of IT and research.

Computer science is the third most popular major amongst international students coming to the United States. There are many reasons that computer science is so popular, including exceptional job security, uncommonly high starting salaries, and diverse job opportunities across industries.
